Mrs Bpo - Fake collection agency
6 comments
A company calling themselves MRS BPO in Cherry Hill, New Jersey wrote me a letter telling me Paypal is using MRS BPO to collect a debt of $63.25 from me. I called Paypal and they said I have no balance due.
MRS BPO want me to call them or email them and of course I will not do this as I don't want them to have my email address. This is a scam. A previous scammer also called me and wrote me about this same fake debt.
They used the name of a real debt collector but gave a different address and phone number. I have filed with the FTC twice about this fake debt.
Reason of review: Poor customer service.

All a sudden this company appeared on my credit report saying I owe 800 and something dollars and I have no knowledge of this. MRSbPO what do I do now
Received same letter from MRS BPO LLC saying I owe Paypal $199.99, charge off date 2/26/2019. I don't have a Paypal acct where I would owe them anything. I believe these type of collectors just send a letter to everyone who has a similar name to see who pays, like they did with my husband's name.
I just received the same bogus letter from Mrs BPO claiming I need to send them 33.01 for a paypal debt. I do not owe PayPal anything, and I have never dodged a legitimate bill in my life.
Scammers. I wonder how many people send them this small amount, figuring it is easier than fighting it?
Sam happened to me. Got a letter.
I don’t owe anything to PayPal. I haven’t called the debt collector yet but I am irritated for sure.
I assure you if you received a letter or phone call from them you were in contact with a legitimate company. There is the possibility of a scam company impersonating MRS however MRS BPO is a reputable collection agency that does 3rd party collections. I
thanks..i have a letter form them too and no idea what for!!
